Don't you know that pictures of homemade pies are supposed to be taken in rustic settings? Even if it just means putting the pie on the porch next to a plant?
I just baked a pie. It’s one of the only things I do well in the kitchen (although I’ve gotten pretty good at throwing greens, nuts, cheese, garlic, and olive oil into the food processor to make pesto). Anyway, this pie is ridiculously easy to make (and eat). If I can make it, you can make it! Here’s my recipe*:
-Pre-heat oven to 400 F
-Mix 4 cups fruit with 6 tablespoons flour
-Put mixture in store-bought crust; put strips of second crust on top
-Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown
-Serve with Greek yogurt
-Enjoy!
*Obviously, this is a hippie version of a real pie recipe that skips out on important things like sugar, extra butter, and ice cream. Sorry.
